Dr. Robyn Diner is one smart, inspiring, ‘bad-ass’ teacher and mentor. She is passionate and compassionate, a deep critical thinker and a committed changer-of-the world. Robyn knows exactly how to keep my inner critics at bay and how to nourish my writing process. Her advice, suggestions, and comments are always helpful, encouraging, and honest. She knows exactly what kind of direction is needed, and when.
I have had various writing coaches over the years, as I have picked up, struggled with, and abandoned my project. Robyn is the first coach with whom I can actually see the finish line.
I first met Robyn in an online autofiction course she taught through the Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society (ACWS) in Calgary, Alberta. She is a fabulous teacher. She has the ability to support each writer’s unique process and project with thoughtfulness and insight. I am privileged to be mentored by Robyn.
