Bio
And credentials
Dr. Robyn Diner is a full-time faculty member at Vanier College, where she teaches literature courses to young people.
Robyn’s online workshops aimed at adults—such as “More Than a MILF: Writing Sex and the Female Body,” along with the forthcoming anthology of the same name—contribute innovative insights to current conversations about how women can age unapologetically in a culture obsessed with youth. Her writing and workshops render visible the various ways in which middle-aged women are stumbling towards pleasure—with laughter, wisdom, rage, and more. She also specializes in autofiction and offers online courses for those interested in learning how to get at the truth of their story by blurring the boundaries between fiction and nonfiction.
Robyn’s published work to date is a mashup of the autofictional, political and theoretical, and consists of stories like, “The Cougars of TikTok.” She lives in the Mile End of Montréal/Tiohtià:ke in Canada, where she is continuously amazed at the price of cute dresses at the thrift shops—never mind the cost of groceries.
